No adjustments. No compromises. Just the right formula.
The Toulon Formula Series is our exploration of zero torque and everything around it. Instead of treating zero torque as an absolute, we approached it as a spectrum, studying how different levels of torque influence face control and stroke dynamics. This led to a new class of putters: designs that reduce rotation to near-zero levels while maintaining the subtle arc and feel that many golfers prefer. By combining advanced geometry with precision weighting and our signature milling, the Formula Series produces a tighter dispersion pattern and more consistent roll. It’s a fundamentally new approach to stability.
We’ve expanded Formula this year to include our popular new Monaco and Houston models, and we’ve also made our Miami model available to left-handers.
THE SCIENCE OF FORMULA
Most golfers suffer from inconsistent results in putting.
Most professional golfers are playing mallets now and an even higher percentage of amateurs are too. Most mallets have centers of gravity that are positioned towards the rear of the head and thus produce a putter face that opens in a golfer's backswing. That's fine for a golfer that has a stroke with more face rotation. For this type of stroke, the golfer can rotate the face back to square at impact and produce putts that start on-line.
But many golfers struggle with rotating the face back to square. For those players, our Formula Series is perfect. Our new Formula Series putters are designed to stay square to your path, allowing for a squarer face at impact that improves your start line and helps you hole more putts.
WHICH FORMULA IS RIGHT FOR Me?
If you have or desire to have a straight back, straight through stroke path, you’ll be best suited to our zero-torque Formula [90] model. This type of stroke path works best with very little face rotation and no natural arc. Formula [90], designed with -90 degrees of toe hang, stays very square to any path but really shines for a stroke like this. With over 6,000 MOI Formula [90] is also incredibly forgiving.
Formula [45], designed with -45 degrees of toe hang, is best-suited for someone who jumped into zero torque and maybe struggled a bit because they LIKE a little arc and rotation in their stroke. The super-low torque Formula [45] gives those with some natural arc access to a highly-forgiving (over 6,000 MOI), super-low torque putter that works WITH their natural, minimal arc.
If you have a putting stroke with a slight amount of arc and rotation, you’ll be best suited to our low-torque, face-balanced Formula [CS] model. With over 6,000 MOI, [CS] won't fight your natural arc and will work with you to hole more putts.
WHY CHOOSE MONACO?
In a world of large zero torque putters, Monaco is a compact shape that many players find more appealing. The long alignment line running the length of the crown helps golfers find center face and hit start lines more often. Choose Monaco [90] if you're looking for as little twist as possible. Go with [45] if you've got some natural arc but still want very low torque.
WHY CHOOSE HOUSTON?
Houston is all about creating better performance through geometry. If your goal is to reduce twist and rotation as much as possible, Houston's boxy shape visually communicates with you to keep the putter head and putter face square.
WHY CHOOSE MIAMI?
Miami is a conventional shaped mallet with beautiful classic lines. If you are someone who struggles with alignment, the three-line alignment system helps you find center face more often, and it's particularly helpful for someone who likes to use a line on their golf ball.
